ELK HUNTS
Wyoming is home to a thriving elk population, offering diverse hunting opportunities and stunning natural habitats for these majestic animals.
Elk hunting with Bridger Wilderness Outfitters is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. These are exclusive private ranch hunts. Twin Eagle Ranch (Hunt Unit 93) is comprised of over 18,000 acres and sits between the south end of the Sawtooth Mountains and the end of the Gros Ventres Range with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department elk feed ground on Black Butte and the Wind River Mountains in view. The ranch borders the Bridger Teton National Forest to the north. Our hunts are currently conducted with UTV, vehicle (truck), and on foot.
Elk licenses in Unit 93 require 9 preference points or more to consistently draw, so it’s never too early or too late to start planning your ultimate elk hunt! Please ask us for the details about preference points, general licenses and other limited entry elk hunting opportunities. We would be happy to help you plan and manage your licensing and preference points for future hunts.
* All nonresident full price elk licenses include an annual fishing privilege. Any hunter who is issued a full price elk license does not need to purchase an additional fishing license once their license is received in June. If you wish to fish prior to receiving your full price elk license, you must purchase a nonresident fishing license. Reduced price cow/calf elk licenses do not include fishing privileges.
We would be happy to apply for your license for you and to manage your preference points. See hunt application to select this option.
If you have questions regarding the application process or how to put in for points for the following hunting season, please call Kaleb Dover (+1-307-231-7522) and he can guide you through the process.

PREPARING FOR YOUR HUNT
Weather can change quickly. You need to plan for temperatures ranging -10 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Sun, snow, rain are all possible. Please pack clothing that can be layered. You will most likely need to make adjustment to clothing as weather and temperature change. You will be hunting in altitudes of 7500+ feet. Please read the article at this link for preparedness for high altitude hunting.
*ACTIVITIES FOR NON-HUNTING GUESTS: All guests would be required to be with a guide for customized activities on the ranch (fishing, hiking, sight-seeing) but if they choose, opportunities are endless in the region. Companion non-hunters will be charged $750 per hunt.

TRAVEL
We want to make your journey to Bridger Wilderness Outfitters as smooth and convenient as possible. You have two options for reaching us: Drive Directly to Our Headquarters: If you prefer to drive, our headquarters is easily accessible by car. We will provide you with detailed directions upon booking to ensure you have a straightforward route to our location. Fly into Jackson, WY: If you’re flying in, you can fly into Jackson (JAC), WY which is within reasonable distance of our headquarters. We offer transportation from the airport to headquarters for a fee. Once you arrive, we’ll be there to pick you up and take care of the rest. Feel free to contact us for more detailed travel instructions, or if you need assistance arranging transportation. We’re here to help make your trip as easy and enjoyable as possible! Each trip we provide for you from Jackson Airport is a $150 fee and from Pinedale Airport is a $75 fee.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We leave each morning with the intent of being gone all day. The weather and harvesting of animals sometimes dictate how long you stay in the field. No hunter is allowed to hunt without a guide or consume any alcohol while hunting. Except for archery antelope, your normal day will start out glassing from the guide’s pickup or UTV. When game to your liking is spotted, it is likely you will go after them on foot. Your guide will make sure you do not leave the vehicle without taking food and water with you. We ask that all hunters bring a small day pack. Do not ask your guide to carry your personal items for you. Some hunters prefer to walk all day, and others prefer to stay closer to the vehicles. This is the hunter’s choice.
